Our software packages offer many learning activities created by professional educators with a background and knowledge in acceleration and of the many challenges faced by educators today. Our course activities go through an intensive quality assurance program to ensure the highest of standards. In addition, using built-in editing tools, teachers and administrators have complete control over any material within the program; they can modify existing lessons and/or add their own curriculum and test questions to meet their needs.

A+LS has been subjected to ongoing research under scientifically based protocols for over 25 years to assess and improve its effectiveness. Because it meets these rigorous standards, it is eligible for funding by No Child Left Behind, Reading First, Title One, Head Start, and other federal, state, and private grants for literacy development.

The instructional methodology incorporated throughout A+LS is direct instruction. The white paper included with this proposal provides the foundation in scientific-based research upon which A+LS was developed. The direct instruction approach is apparent in the design of each lesson and its consistent presentation across the curriculum with the sequential use of the materials.

The A+LS system is currently being used in many districts throughout Texas.
